Car cut out now wont start

Was driving when loss of power steering and speedo reading since had car startd then engine light came on now car says eco mode on dash and battery light is flashing, battery was fine and wont go under jump start with heavy duty leads, any suggestions? Cheers kyle

SOUNDS LIKE THE SYMPTOMS OF THE BELT BREAKING OR FALLING OFF

IF SO, MAKE SURE YOU PULLEYS ALL TURN AND ARE NOT LOCKED UP, TENSIONERS ARE OK, AND PULLEY BEARINGS ARE OK AND PULLEYS ARE NOT "FLOPPY"

ONE OF THESE MAY HAVE "SHUCKED" THE BELT

HELPED A LADY W/ SIMILAR SYMPTOMS ON THE ROADSIDE YESTERDAY--HER IDLER PULLEY BEARINGS SHELLED OUT---BELT FELL OFF SOMEWHERE DOWN THE ROAD AND LOST
