First make sure your system is full of anti freeze. Low anti freeze will cause no heat and overheat.

How do I add anti freeze to the car, as I can't take off the cap? It just twists around.
Many thanks

Can you get help from someone who knows about cars? Can you make it to your local auto parts store? They can assist you? It sounds like you are trying to open an overflow bottle. Some of them snap off not twist. You need to open the radiator cap if you have 1. This is an odd ball vehicle with that diesel motor!
