MY 2004 SILVERADO IS STUCK IN PARK HOW DO I GET IT TO SHIFT?

The truck was working fine, I was backing up to a dock, and put it in park to get out and check where I was, got back in the truck and went to put it in rev. And shifter would not move. I jiggled the shifter and pulled down on it. It moved down but feels disconnected now.

Check to see if the brake lights are working. The park lock solenoid gets power from the brake light switch to release. If no lights, check fuses. Let me know

The brake lights work. Is there other fuses that may effect this?
This is the 8.1 engine with Allison trans.

Not to the best of my knowledge. The solenoid itself may be bad or not getting power. Check wiring.
