Transmission does not go into park?

Transmission does not go into park can yo0u help me please I love this site.

A little more detail would help us find a solution for you. I would suggest inspecting the cable that runs down to the linkage on the transmission. Also, ensure the mounting bolts (at transmission pan area) that holds the linkage is tight. Otherwise, there may be something interfering with the gear shift lever behind the cover of the steering column.
