Rear brake rotor removal

I did remove the two caliper housing bolts and set the caliper aside, but the rotor seems like it needs to be "persuaded" with a heavy hammer. Does the emergency brake need backing off prior to removal? Thanks for your help.

If your park brake is integral in the rear of the rotor, yes it needs loostened or backed off.

If the ebrake is off and the rotor spin's freely here's what you do get some liquid wrench spray it around the center hub part of the rotor let it soak in a little while. Then put one lug nut on a couple of thread's take a dead blow hammer and tap from the back side of the rotor spin it a little tap some more. That should break it loose.
