2003 Hyundai Elantra Won't start

First instance- friend was driving went into store came out no crank passers-by giggled main relay started replaced relay
Second instance - friend went to store would not crank towed to mech shop car was there over weekend car started for mech everytime he could not figure it out replaced starter
Third instance - I went to store and it cranked for 1.5 seconds then nothing. No crank even

It sounds like it could be one of two things, bad battery, or bad connection at the battery. Follow this link for more info,
