Front-end noise

I hear a grind/rubbing noise in the front of my vehicle when I go over a speed bump or curb. The noise is very bad when I am turning hard left. I replaced the brakes and shocks a month ago. The vehicle is not in four wheel drive when this happens and hubs are not manual. The ball joints seem to be in great shape. No excessive play in the front axle. The grease boot is dry rotted on tie rod ends and ball joints. Neither have grease fittings. What or where should I look next and how?

This happens when the bearing hubs go out. Here is a guide to help you see what you are in for when doing the job and diagrams below to see what it will be like on your car:

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Cheers

I had this problem as well, the hubs were both bad. All set. I love this site.
