Which tires would give better traction on an F-150 2wd in the winter, snow tires like "Blizzak tires" or all Terrain tires Like "Firestone Destination AT"?

I'd look for ones rated for the snow. The Firestone on tirerack shows to be a great snow tire by people's ratings and by the fact that the tire is a all season tire, it may help you since you won't have to remove at the end of the season. However you will need weight in the back of the truck to keep from sliding no matter what

No weight over the rear axle will be you main problem, as for tyre choice, talk to your local retailer or check ratings as the last poster has suggested.
