2001 Ford F-150 squeaking behind the tires. Need new shocks or just a simple lube job?

Behind front tires? When turning? If so suspect possible dryed out ball joints, they are non greasable, so replacement would be the fix, Now if it's making the noise in the rear while moving could be possible u- joint(s) or brake issue.
