2003 Chevrolet Malibu turn signals

The turn signals only work intermittently. They work fine for a while then nothing happens for a day or two. Then they'll work for a while and stop. So I don't think it is the bulbs. Any suggestions? Is there a fuse or a capacitor that needs changing?

It sounds like you may have a bad turn signal flasher. On that car it is built into the hazard switch so next time it happens, try the hazards and see if they work. If not you likely have a bad hazard switch.
