Jetta lost power

When I try to start my jetta the car turns over but doesn't start. Before this happened, the car would occasionally lose power when on the highway.

You need to check what is missing causing the non starting. It could be ignition sparks which might be due to sensor failure or it could be fuel which is due to a failed fuel pump.
