Car shut off and restarted fine but then later the check engine light came on

I have been have problems with my car for awhile. The clock would keep resetting and the radio would shut off by its self for a second. But this morning when I was backing the car out of the driveway it shut off. When I restarted it I had no problems it started fine, but then like 30 min. Down the road the cars engine light came on.

Need to check engine codes go to an Auto Zone have codes read then post will advise

I have that thing that reads you the codes but I am at work and I want to make sure that I will make it home safely beacuse I have to drive through a one lane road with no cell service and I dont wanna be stuck. Thank U :)
