When I turn my wheel if im not completely stopped the back wheel has a thumping sound. Is it the wheel bearing?

Not likely. A wheel bearing will humm as speed picks up. Probably something with your brakes.

1 other possibilty is a bad tire. They sopmetimes will only show at slow speeds.
