When I turn on headlight switch only 1 headlight door opens but both lights come on. I replaced the plastic gear in the motor 3 yrs ago. With the brass gear. I can mannually raise and lower door. Door fuses under hood good with circuit tester on drivers side light motor connection apart not on motor side connectio but on harness wiring on dr gr wire to gr/wh to motor 1 light lights. On L/gr wire to bl/gry wire to motor 3 lights light. On yellow wire to brown on motor side harness no volts with swith off poeer w/switch om. Lgr to LGR head light works bl to bl lights works I took motor apart the brushes were built into the gr/wh and the bl/gr harness for the motor connection were about 1/8 " long non changable. If im getting power at the motor harness shouldnt the shaft on the motor turn (motor not hooked up to door thank for any thing I can do or checck a guy that rebuilds motors for fieiro's said hes never heard of brushes going bad?

When you turn the head lights on you should get a wire with battery voltage. Also a wire with a good ground.

So of the 2 wires the (grn & wht) or the (gry & blk) one will + and one - right I talked 2 a man that rebuilds motors said brushes are to short. So instead of sending it to him & paying 50 to rebuild .I went to Oreilly's bought one for 77 with lifetime warranty so if gear strips they replace and I dont have to pay 55 for a brass gear. I havent installed yet its raining I hooked it up 2 my 18 volt drill battery and it ran with 1 wire to + and 1 to - ill hook up tommorrow maybe wont be something else thanks for the help. Ill probabbly re-post if it doesnt work. P.S. What does a headlight motor controller module do? And that 1 amp fuse to sterring wheel controls there are 2 infuse box but it isnt that one the controls work with out fuse goes to something else ill try not to bother u anymore I hope thanks again

Turn the headlights on light green wire should get battery voltage at left head light motor harness. That is the power feed for the up signal for the left head light motor. The head light module is the brain for the head light motors it controls power turns the motors on and off controls there up and down movement etc.
