RPMs Jumping

My truck's rpms jump up and down when I'm only hitting the gas a little (usually when I'm taking a long turn) and recently it's gotten worse where the rpms jump and I feel a "BUMP" whereas before it was more of a gentle reving.

Check the idle air control valve, check the throttle position sensor and check for vacuum leaks. If the check engine light is on, have the computer scanned for trouble codes.
