2002 chevy suburban will not turn over. The volt meter does not move when you turn the key. All other electric works. Volt meter shows 12 volts. It acts as if a signal is not getting to the starter. Not sure what to look for?

Dash lights go out but the moter does not turn over when the the key is turned. Volt meter does not show any draw against it when the key is turned. All other electrical works in truck. What is the security system issue?

Could be the starter motor, starter relay, park and neutral switch and ignition switch assuming the battery condition and connections are good.
