02 Suburban has an delay issue with its electrical system

The truck starts and drives but when starting all the gauges are not functioning and if you start driving before the gauges are activated the truck runs in 2nd gear. But upon starting the truck if you wait for all gauges to come on and function normal it will run fine. Please give me a little assistance in locating my issue. Thank you very much for your time.

Check all grounds. Make sure they are clean and solid.

Your problem is how ours started, ours was a broken wire in the ignition harness, we replaced the harness and all gauges are in working order.
