When I accelerate my car sputters before it.

When I accelerate my car sputters before it gains speed and at times it will cut off completely when i'm at a red light. Also when i'm making a turn like say on an exit ramp the car flashes the oil light and then turns off automatically. What could be the problem? Thank you."

Oil light? Did you check the oil level?

I will be general since you provided no info on the motor

i would look at plugs, wires/coils as a start

There is no check oil light on. I will look at the plugs, wires, coils for sure. Thanks for the input.
