2001 Hyundai Santa Fe tranmission

During hot operation when I stop running and shift the transmission to neutral and then shift to drive the response is late and sudden and theres a noise in transmission. What is the possible cause of that problem?

Have a trans guy look at it cold be a stuck valve, clutch etc. Low fluid

I already check the valve and fluid, do you have any other idea to a late response of automatic all wheel transmission? Tnx.
