I have a 2001 Sebring. The heat does not come on when I am in idle. It only comes on when I am in drive. I have checked the anti freeze level and it is okay. Help!

Is the engine temp at normal level on the gauge or is it lower that normal?

That is usually an indication of a partially restricted heater core and it will likely need to be replaced.

You can first try doing a flush of the core as replacement can be expensive, worth a try first.
