2001 Chevrolet Tahoe passenger tail light don't work

My tail light on my 2001 chevy tahoe does not light up only works when I press the brake what could it be?

Check the bulb first then see if it is getting power. If it's only one light check fuse and relay, relay in lh side fuse panel an dfsue under hood. If no power and those are good get scanned by a pro may be a body module.
