2001 Chevrolet Silverado Fuel/acceleration problem

My truck was running great and suddenly started acting like it was out of gas. It will start and run, but now I have to tap on the gas pedal so it won't stall.I t will eventually run okay, but seems like it's not getting fuel. Could it be a fuel filter, fuel pump or fuel injector issue? I use my truck for work and need to repair it right away.

Is the problem only evident at an idle?

Check for a vacuum leak and check to make sure the IAC is working properly.
