Question is; How do I get my statter and fuel pump to opperate?
2001 Chev s10 v6 2wd.
I did a head gasket replacement and now the engen will not trun over and my fuel is not pumping to the plenum.
I removed the battery connection, removed the engen wiring harness, removed hoses, removed intak, removed exaust, removed heads, cleaned and replaced head gaskets per chilltons manual, reversed the process to complete the job. Now every light works but it is as if I trigered the security system. Starter wont turn over, fuel wont pump to the injectors. I checked all fuses and grounds.

Your security system has nothing to do with starter circuit, in my opinion.

At the starter relay, terminal 30 is hot all the time. Terminal 85 goes hot with key in the crank position. When the relay is energized, that line with the arrowhead switches to terminal 87, that circuit carries voltage to starter solenoid S terminal, purple wire. Any testing, make sure the tranny is in park or neutral and the e-brake is set.
