2001 s-10 wont start when the engine is hot.
If I turn it off when the tempiture is at 215, I have to wait untill the tempature reaches 200 befor I can start it again. This has been happning for about 6 months and it didnt happen all the time at first. Now it happens everytime I turn the truck off and want to restart it. Cold starting is fine. Also all the lights and radio come on fine all the time but, it wont crank and no starter sounds when its hot.

This my not be the right answer, but here what happen to me. My s10 done the samething as yours.
It got so bad if u turned it off it would not start.
No started sound nothing. I even replased the starter. It was not that.
It was in the key switch. I didn't replace it.
I put a mamual push buttom on it. Now I turn on the key and then push the button.
U my also want to replace the thermostat with a fall safe one. That when it sticks, it's stock open and not closed.

Hope this is some help
Frank
