My vehicle was running fine, and all was well in my world. Then a few days ago. A friend asks if they could get a jump. That didn't work so eventually I allowed them to borrow my battery So the day could attempt to get their vehicle started. They were not successful. But once they put my battery back in, I drove to a friend's house. And then started to doordash. I was in the middle of an order when my lights started to dim. Have changed the battery several times change the alternator One time and still continues to shut off. The battery light was coming on at first. And then once the alternator was replaced, the battery light didn't come on, but after idling fine for 20 minutes. Once I hit the gas, it started to sputter. I don't know anything about cars. But I need my vehicle to work. If I can't work, I don't know what I will do, please help.

Hello,

It sounds like the battery cables might be loose when the battery was installed, or the cable ends are corroded. If you can upload an image of the cable ends, I can tell you for sure. Also, while wearing latex/vinyl gloves check to see if the cable ends are secure on the battery.

When you mean sputter, does it feel like the engine is misfiring also do you have a check engine light on? Can you use your phone and upload a short video of the problem?

Here is a guide to help us run the codes to see if any are stored:

Please upload pictures or videos of the problem so we can see what's going on.
