My car will crank in park but will not start until I put it in Neutral?

This does not make sense. If you are able to crank, that indicates the switch is sending the correct signal.

Did you try to check what is missing causing the non starting? Fuel or igntion sparks?

Have you tried to retrieve for trouble codes?
