SERVICE ENGINE SOON LIGHT

My service engine soon light came on and on the way to get the code it went off. Someone told me that even though the light went off I could still get the code pulled because it stores it in the cars memory. Is this true. Thank you.

It is possible, and freeze frame data will tell you what was happening when it set the code.

To save time and money Autozone will scan it for free, post all codes here. Code should be stored in memory.
