I had a screw in my tire so I took it to a repair shop to have it fixed and now it looks like it is going flat again. Why?

Do you know what kind of repair was made, plug or patch? Some shops use plugs that are inefficient and tend to come back leaking a few days later. A patch were they actually take the tire off the rim and repair the tire with a patch is the way to go. Best thing to do is take it back and have them take a look at it.
