Car overheeating notshifting

2000 impala 3.4, over heating and not shifting out of first gear. Tried a trans flush and coolant flush and it ran fine for two days now its doing it again, please help

You need to find out why it is overheating, as a bad thermostat, clogged radiator, a leak or possible head gasket from driving overheated.

The trans is a separate issue. It sounds like an internal failure and needs to be checked by a shop to confirm.
