AC fan

The motor on my ac fan is good but it dont come on when I turn the air on. I switched the relay with another one that had the same numbers and it still didnt come on. It runs hot in town but ok on the interstate

Check all your fuses using a test light. If they are good, then someone is going to have to troubleshoot the circuit using a test light and a wiring diagram.

Check and test the coolant temperature sensor if okay -have the computer circuits for the fan relays-checked and tested

If it doesn't come on with the A/C, you can probably eliminate the temp sensor as the problem.

There is 2 relays for that fan there's one in the under hood fuse box and directly in front of fuse box you will see 3 relays attached on bracket the one that is farthest to drivers side finder is the ac fan relay also. I was having same problem with mine. Even thou the relay looks different after you get it unplugged you can still use one of the other relays for example the horn relay to check and see if this is your problem.
