Throttle stick?

Was driving with cruise control on. Turned cruise off, truck accelorated on its own. About didn't get stopped. Had to put into neutral to get stopped.

Ceck the throttle bady for excessive deposits. They can make a throttle stick and affect peerformane.
Rove the TB and spray it out with carb cleaner being carefel of the Idle air Control Vavle and Fast Idle as they can be damaged by contaminants running into while cleaning.
