My transmission is slipping and it started a couple days ago

If this is the original trans and it ONLY is slipping (no strange noised) it should be just a soft part overhaul. The questions is, can you find a good used one for less than the cost of the OH. Start checking salvage yards for the same year, make and model transmission for prices. Then have a trans shop quote you for the overhaul. See which is the best way to go.
