Heater not working please help me fix it?

If it was working and suddenly stopped I would check the blend door, the actuator might be working but the door itself has broken. Also check the heater hoses, They both should heat up and feel the same temperature, if one is hot and the other cold you have no flow through the core.

Thank you for your help Steve! I did forget to mention that both of the hoses are hot. I didn't even think about the door! Thanks again for the help again it is much appreciated!

I can not figure out why the heater will not blow out heated air.I have checked the hoses, they are ok

Check the thermostat in the engine, if hot water is not circulating through the engine, it is not circulating through the heater core either.

There is a solenoid that is mounted to the back wall of the engine with a air hose attached to it that opens a gate to allow the hot water to get to the heater core. I replaced this in my 96 Tahoe and it solved my no heat problem.
