Why can't I turn left?

It started off almost like the power steering was going out. It became more and more difficult to turn. It absolutely will not turn left, I can't even turn the steering wheel to the left with ALL of my weight.

Safely raise and support the vehicle, tires off ground. Can you turn it then? If not, take the tie-rods loose, can you turn the steering knuckle then? I do all the testing I can, before replacing anything.
