Here is the problem in detail. My Plymouth Breeze was not cranking, it was turning over but would not run, and I took it to a shop and they replaced the fuel filter and fuel pump. I left the shop with the car running and got home, it would not crank later, it would turn over and I checked and it did have spark. We listened and you cannot hear the fuel pump turn on, and weird thing is, the fuel gauge only works when the fuel pump is operational and the car will run now? Anyone have any ideas of what I should check or replace now? If you have any further questions, email me at: rossdlover@gmail. Com Thanks.

The fuel pump and float gauge are one unit in the fuel tank. Chances are you have a bad connection at the fuel tank where the wiring harness plugs in, a bad ground, or the fuel pump relay may be bad.

Check that and let me know what you find.
