No tail lights or brake lights. Turn signals work. Brake light in rear window comes on with head lights and parking lights. I noticed that the radio light dims when I apply the brake. I am thinking maybe ground. Any other ideas Thanks

Hello,

This could be due to a faulty brake light switch.
The brake light switch is located under the brake pedal lever.
When the pedal gets depressed, the switch gets pushed and the brake lights get illuminated.

That switch could be shorted out and creating this issue.

I have attached the testing procedure for the switch.

Another possibility is faulty wiring for the brake lights. I have included the wiring schematics below

Please let me know of any questions.
Thank you.
