Fuel filter?

When I get up to 30mph my car starts to cut out and after shutting it off and starting it the next morning the check engine light came on. Could it be as simple as the fuel filter or pump? And where do I find those parts on the car? I dont have a book on my car

Could it possibly be stopped up exhaust. Like Mr. Catalytic Converter is stopped up?

Regardless--if your Repair Manual outlines you need to/ or should have already, in the Scheduled Maintenance Section--Changed the fuel filter. Your Filter may need changin' anyway!
