Explorer not shifting gears

I have a 1998 Ford Explorer 4x4 automatic. Will not go in reverse and will not shift out of 1st gear when driving. Any suggestions?

Check and test the transmission range sensor, TPS and VSS sensors if all okay bring it in to a transmission specialty shop and have it further checked-could be anything internally-You can have it pressure tested for a start
