1997 Ford Explorer will not shift

With the help found here and other online I repair temperature blending door. Got everything put back together Temperature works. But now the car will lnot shift out of Park! Shift lever moves but does not change gears. Un bolted steer column and layed on drivers seat while removing dash. Bolted it all back into place. Cant figure it out. I assume shift cable became disconnected.

You may have knocked it out of the mounting bracket at the column.

Check point 1 and snap it back in... if this is the problem let me know, if not I will send more info.
