Leaks on carpet when it rains.

I have a 1998 Buick LeSabre. It is leaking when it rains. The leak is on the driver's side on the floor in front and in the back. I don't see where it is leaking but after it rains; especially a hard rain, there is water under the carpet in front and in the back on the driver's side. Can you give me a clue as to what to do or what this may be?

It could be water seeping in under the doors. Check the water proofing shield behind the door panels.

It could be a leak somewhere at windshield or body.

Flip up the carpet and perform a water leak test to find the source. A garden hose is rather helpful in this case.
