Car keeps dying

My car keeps dying mostly when it is hot outside. We replaced the fuel filter and put new gas in but still keeps dying. What could be causing this problem.

Is it dieing when you take your foot off the throttle or while cruising?

It dies when I push the gas pedal. When I let off of it the car accelerates.

It will also do it with out touching anything. When I come to a stop it dies. Its getting harder to start or stay started.

Check and test the MAF. TPS and ignition coils and have the computer scanned for any stored trouble codes.

Mass Air Flow Sensor and Throttle Position sensor.

Wouldnt the TPS cause the engine to over rev?
