97 Bravada won't start with coil mounted to bracket but will start with coil un-mounted. Engine dies as soon as coil and mounting bracket come in contact with the mounting surface on the intake. This vehicle is developing electrical failures faster than I can fix them. Last time, I lost voltage to the ECM/BATT fuse and had to run a new power feed to it to get the thing running again. Any help is appreciated. I apologize for not donating. I just lost my job last Monday, now this p.O.S. Bravada breaks down on us on Thanksgiving day.

Update: The culprit was a bad coil wire. Didn't catch it arc-ing before because of the factory installed black corrugated plastic protector covering it. Once that was removed, I had a Pink Floyd light show under the hood. Again I couldn't donate, but hopefully someone will find this info useful. Thanks!
