Slight chattering and slipping in first gear.

Slight chattering and slipping in first gear when accelerating from a stop sign, tcase was completely dry when checked, u joints are fine and no sticky brakes topped all fluids but still chatters and slips momentariley in first any suggestions?

Sounds more like the trans than transfer case. Is the fluid clean? Have you serviced it regularly? It may have worn out clutches

Serviced regularly was running just fine filter dropped out of the oring and was sitting on the bottom of the pan repaired and did tranny flush fluid is clean drove and shifted well for a month afterrepairing then started shuderring and slight slip checked into a tranny rebuild and starts at 2200
