My minivan needs smog but the light on the dash is always on and won't pass with the light on.

I have a 97 Chrysler town and country minivan and the ABS light on the dash stays on even thought the brakes have been replaced, what my options to fix this? I have very little money and need advice and ideals to resolve the problem and get the van ready before school starts back up January 16th.

Find and pull ABS fuse and see if light remains? You could try car place to get code read on ABS it's probably a sensor on the wheels.
