Transmission keeps slipping

I have a 1996 es300 lexus and the transmission keeps slipping. What are some things that could be wrong with it? I've had the transmission taken out and looked at but its still slipping.

I had it repaired and out back together, and the guy said everything was fine, so I dont know what's wrong with it.

Do you have a check engine light and when was last tune-up?

Its not fine if it still slipping-have it pressure tested to find out more-also have the throttle position and vehicle speed sensor checked
