96 caravan 2.4 liter. Took to shop, 1, 3, 4 were miss-firing, so I changed plugs and van ran great, no more spitting or bogging out on acceration, then about a week later it got worse than it was before now it spits from dead take off, and from 40-90 mph, if I press to faST IT JUST BOGS BAD AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHT FLASHES, some people keep saying to change coil pack, think this is the problem, oh and the heat does not work in idle but works fantastic while gas is pressed, I believe this is caused by my bad coolant tank though. I also did the FINLANDER check on the alternator and the metal wrench sticks to the magnet on alternator just fine so that works, and I pulled the wires one by on coil pack and stuck my hand down there and 1, 3, 4 did not shock nearly as hard at 2 did.

Check the ignition wires to make sure there is no arcing going on. As far as the check engine light, is it still the same codes? If you remove the plugs from those cylinders, what do they look like?

As far as the heat, make sure the coolant is full. Also, make sure the water pump belt is tight.
