Hi

I had great AC last summer and this year I have none! We have replaced the evaporator core, the compressor, the high pressure switch and the valve. IT has also been recharged and refrigerant added. The temp control works but it blows hot air

Any ideas, we love our mechanic but he is stumped.

Thanks

First see if the pipe to evaporator to compressor is getting cold ( the large pipe) if it's not it's a a/c problem. Then check to see if the temp actuator door is opening or broken off. Try pulling hvac fuse for 60seconds with key on sometimes they reset. If this is auto temp control then all bets are off- you set how cold your car is justlike at home. Etc. If the evaporator was replaced then the evap temp sensor may be in the wrong hole, it should be in top hole.
