Starting problems

Your distributor needs to be checked for bearing wear/slop. It has to be pulled to do so. And forums indicate when replacing any parts especially ignition parts use only genuine nissan parts.

Sounds almost like a flooding problem? When you try to start after going somewhere, have you tried holding gas pedal down, even all the way to the floor? Does the engine sputter or fire at all or just roll over. You should have it checked for spark and fuel pressure at that time.
