Bad fuel pump

In tank fuel pump is dead, will an inline fuel pump pull fuel through it

Probably, but I would just replace the tank unit. Small pieces of the old pump may get lodged in an inline pump.

Thanks very much, was just tryin anythang to keep from droppin the fuel tank or jackin the bed up to get access to the fuel pump

Don't forget this is a high pressure system, and a few special connectors will need to be made with the fuel line tool, or it will leak. This applies to an add on pump, no tool needed for an OEM install.
