It could be the Orings on the expansion valve or the evaporator itself leaking you would have to do some more digging to which. As far as the inside blower fan being inop that could be part of the problem for the ac clutch not coming on. Do you have a multi meter to do some testing?

With the key in the run position put the blower fan on hi see if the purple wire to the blower motor has battery voltage? The black wire to blower motor should have 2 ohms or less to ground? With the key in the run position fuse number 6 25 amp in the inside fuse box should have battery voltage across both sides of the fuse.

With no power to the number 6 fuse that would explain the inop blower motor also that coyld effect the ac operation. But remember if all your charge leaked out like your said when you charged your system then there is no point in looking for power at the ac compressor. With low or no pressure in the ac system the compressor is allowed to turn on. So this is the number 6 fuse in the inside fuse box? Also there is a 25amp fuse in the number 6 fuse slot? You did check both sides of the fuse with the key in the run position while checking it?

We replace the compressor, orifice tube and compressor, the orifice tube had some metal shaving. I used the glasses and light to check found leaks on the high side line near the condenser or at the condenser. Bypassed the low pressure switch and the compressor and clutch did engage.

You didn't flush the ac lines etc?The metal shaving could take out your new compressor
Also I hope your not running the ac system all the time without the high/low pressure switch? That pressure switch is a safety device for the ac system.
